Morning my crafting friends, hope all is well with you all. May I give a warm welcome to all my new followers, including corysnana1, and for those who just come and browse, so good to have you here and I do hope you keep coming back.
Today's is a little card, I hope to make a few more of these this year what with the price of postage and, sadly to say possibly flatter ones too! Although saying that there are two cards I have made which don't fit the bill lol! These will be shown later this week.
I made a little card out of white card, matted it up with some Cobalt Blue card. I embossed a piece of White card and placed that on top then die cut the Auvergne out of Cobalt Blue card and placed on the top. Using the smaller center piece I stamped my sentiment onto White card and added it in the center.
You could make this more decorative with embellishments but I wanted a plain card where the die and embossing folder speak for themselves.
Items used:
White Card
Creative Expressions Cobalt Blue card
Sue Wilson French Collection Auvergne
Sue Wilson Embossing Folder Eternity
Creative Expressions unmounted stamps-Kind Thoughts

ReplyDeleteWe all like layers but sometimes the less is more cards are just as terrific.
The cobalt blue is lovely and with the embossing, gives the illusion of depth.
Have a great day.

ReplyDeleteAfternoon Jacquie, a beautiful card. I think trying to keep a card simple is the hardest card to make as i'm always tempted to add something more to it. You have achieved just the right balance. Love the embossing folder. Janice xxx
