Down at the Farm

Morning crafters, HAPPY HALLOWEEN  to everyone and I hope you are all well, my this week is going fast!

Sorry no Halloween card but one of the beautiful images from Thomas Kinkade.

I started with my basic White 8x8 card and matted this up with Create and Craft card-Green.  With more White card I ran it through the Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Embossing Folder-Sea Garden and matted and layered up onto my card.

I chose an image of a Farm from Joanna Sheen Thomas Kinkade CD Rom ( I always hoped there would be a second CD Rom of his work available), after printing the image onto Photo Paper I die cut it with Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles. Using more of the Green card I embossed with the same die from Radiant Rectangles and attached the image to this so the embossed parts of the Green card came through the areas cut out of the image. I then attached this onto my card at an angle.

I used a sentiment from a sheet of sentiments I had typed up and die cut it with Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die-lites Petite Lables One, I inked through the die with a little Tim Holtz Distress Ink Dried Marigold, with a bit of Green card I embossed using the same die from Petite Lables One, this left a little ridge for the sentiment to lay on. I attached this to the bottom right corner of the card and attached three little Green gems from Create and Craft Iridescent Gems to the top left corner to balance the card out.

There you have the finished card.

Blue Lantern

Morning my crafting friends, hope today finds you all well.

Today's card is made up of bits and pieces I started ages ago but then did not do anything with!! For example I had embossed the Cherry Blossom onto acetate and painted then put away, it was a trial thing! I did the same with three hanging lanterns and the ripple card I had painted and embossed just to see what it looked like then put that aside to use at a later date so yesterday I decided to put them together to make my own version of one of Sheena Douglass cards.

I cut a piece of Black card and embossed it with Sheena Douglass Little Bit Oriental-Sakura Silhouette then just around the edge (as the rest would be covered) I added some Creative Expressions Gilding Wax, first Spring Green then on top of that I used Cast Copper. This gave a lovely oldie look to the card it was a shame it was being covered up!!!
With some Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Silver card I had lightly washed over it with Tim Holtz Distress Inks Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac then ran it through Sheena Douglass Little Bit Oriental Embossing Folder Water Ripple, I inked round the edge slightly with Tumbled Glass.

As I had said earlier I had stamped the Cherry Blossom from  S.D  L.B.O Sakura stamps onto Crafters Companion Heat Resistant Acetate using my Versamark Stamp Pad and embossed with Papermania Embossing Powder Black Sparkle then painted the back of it with Reeves Acrylic Paints; Crimson Red and Titanium White.
On more Acetate I stamped one of the Lanterns from S.D L.B.O. Lanterns stamps as above but painted it in with Reeves Acrylic Paint Ultramarine.
I then decided to stamp onto the left of the card, using the silhouette blossom and Chinese writing from S.D L.B.O. Sakura stamps with T.H Black Soot to fill in the bare space.
I attached the Cherry Blossom and Lantern with Pinflare Silicone Glue, I did not add a sentiment so it left the card open for any occasion.

There you have the finished card.

Autumn Leaves

Morning crafters, hope you have weathered out the storm and that you are all well? It was really blowing here, not a good day to have a ton of top soil delivered I can tell you lol! It poured down just after it was delivered! My poor cats did not want to venture out at all and thankfully as I cleared my greenhouse out on Saturday the rabbits were moved in on Sunday so they now have shelter for the winter!

Patricia you must take a look at the CD, the images on there are beautiful its just choosing one that's the difficult bit. I shall look forward to viewing any future projects. I have loads and loads of odd bits in my waste box, I guess I will have to spend one day going through it all.

Now for todays card I decided to go back to my trees again today, I love trees they look so majestic and the bigger the better!

I started by folding a piece of Brown card from Lidls to form a 5x7 base card, on top of this I matted a piece of Create and Craft Gold Pearlescent card. Using the back of Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Silver card I randomly inked using Tim Holtz Distress Inks Vintage Photo, Fired Brick and Crushed Olive then inked round the edge with Vintage Photo. Using Sheena Douglass Little Bit Magical-The Quest I stamped the Maple Leaf with Versamark Stamp Pad over the background and heat embossed with Papermania Embossing Powder-Copper.

Now I wanted to use the Willow tree from Sheena Douglass Little Bit Oriental-Oriental Silhouette and being as it is in Black Silhouette I though it would look good on a dark background so I inked up a piece of scrap card with Versa Color-Royal Blue, stamped on the Willow Tree with Versamark Stamp Pad and heat embossed with Papermania Embossing Powder-Black Sparkle. On trying several dies to see which would look and fit best I decided on Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 20 to die cut the tree, this did not look right sitting straight onto the background so I embossed some C.C. Gold Pearlescent card with Labels 20 to give that extra ridge, cut it out and matted the tree image onto it and attached this to my card with Pinflare Silicone Glue.

I felt it needed a sentiment of sorts and I wanted to keep the tree theme so I had the idea of printing an image of a leaf with my sentiment on it along with more leaves but my printer had other ideas, no matter how many time I clean the heads the images still print with lines across so I had to come up with another way of doing it, as the leaf stamps I have are too small I had a go at drawing my own. I made myself a template of a Maple Leaf and cut three out of Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Silver card, with two of the leaves I used the pearlescent side and the other one the plain back of the card, I gave each leaf a wash with Tim Holtz Distress Inks Fired Brick, Crushed Olive and Dried Marmalade three times to make the colour a bit intense, I then mixed some Fired Brick and Crushed Olive together and painted around the edge once more, using Dried Marmalade I painted on the stalks lightly, though I do not think they show up in the pictures. Once dry I stamped my sentiment from Creative Expressions Unmounted Stamps-Treasured Memories using Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Black Soot onto the matte leaf and then gave it a coat of Pinflare Glaze, this really brought out the Autumn colour on the leaf, so much so that I wished I had done all three the same!

There you have the finished card, it may be a bit bright for some of you but I liked the contrast of colours and I know you don't get Maple Leaves off a Willow tree but hey...! Anyhow, I hope you like it.

Friends

Morning Crafters, hope this finds you all safe and well with all these high winds, we spent yesterday battening everything down and covering everything up just to be on the safe side.

May I give a very warm welcome to Sam Smithard, great to have you on board, if you have a blog of your own please post the URL so I can view too and place you on my list.

Now todays card was made up using one of those beautiful images from Paintbox Poppets and bits of craft I had left over from other cards, so it may be a bit mis match but hey, gotta try and use some of my waste!

I started with some Create and Craft Pearlescent Gold card and folded it half to make an A5 size base card. I put a spare strip of White Satin edged Ribbon (Bought from The Range) around the middle and added a strip of embossed (Sheena Douglass Little Bit Oriental-Sakura) Pink card (Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Pastel) that I had left over in the center as seen.

I printed the image from Crafters Companion Crisalis Classics and Paintbox Poppets Collections CD-Rom, cut it out and matted it onto another piece of Gold Pearlescent card, I attached this onto my card at an angle as seen.

With some scrap White card I stamped my sentiment from Creative Expressions Unmounted stamps-Classic Sentiments using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Black Soot and die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements-Splendid Circles, whilst still in the die I inked round the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Victorian Velvet, I attached this onto my card with Foam Pads. With more White card I die cut with Spellbinders Venetian Motifs and attached these either side of the image.

Using another piece of Ribbon I made a bow and placed it in the bottom right corner, I coloured in a wooden flower with a Pink Spectrum Noir and attached this in the center of the bow. To finish the card off I added some Habico Self Adhesive Pearls in the corners.

Now this card was not planned I just used scrap waste so please let me know what you think.

Thank You for being my Friend

Hello crafters. Hope today is finding you all well? Very blustery here at the moment with some rain, getting ready for the big one tomorrow...

Thank you for all your beautiful comments yesterday its much appreciated. So I am dedicating todays card to my  crafty friends on my blog, thank you for being my Friend xxx

I decided to keep to just two colours for todays card, Black & Peach, I was quite happy with it until I got a bit heavy handed with the distress ink! Now that sticks out like a sore thumb!Maybe I should have cut it off but too late now lol!

Anyhow, I started with my base 8x8 White card, I know I should have used Peach for this, sorry folks. Onto this I matted some Black card.

With a sheet of paper from Creative Expressions Teresa Collins Designer Pad I die cut a piece out using Spellbinders Boardabilities Curved Boarders Two as seen, I then inked round the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Inks-Black Soot, this is where I was a bit too heavy handed in one place, I matted this onto my card.

With some Black card I die cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements-Captivating Squares then stamped the Leaf corners from Sheena Douglass Little Bit Scenic-Silhouette Country Lane with my Versamark Stamp Pad, I heat embossed it with Papermania Embossing Powder-Black Sparkle and attached it to the center of my card with Foam Pads.
With a piece of Pale Peach card from Creative Expression Foundation card I stamped my sentiment from Creative Expressions Unmounted Stamps-Heartfelt Sentiments using Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Black Soot. After die cutting it out using a smaller die from S.B Captivating Square I attached it to the center of the Black Square.
With more of the Pale Peach card I die cut S.B. Shapeabilities Die-lites Tiger Lilies and whilst still in the die I inked through with T.H Distress Ink-Dried Marigold this gave the lovely Orange center to the flowers. I attached these to the card using Pinflare silicone Glue.

There you have the finished card. This was quite a quick one to make, I could have used more embellishments like maybe a few self adhesive pearls on the corners or something, but I think it would have spoilt it more than it already is! What do you think?

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Enchanted Doorway

Morning crafters my half term holidays start here!

Todays card is from another set of Sheena Douglass Little Bit Magical 'Enchanted Doorway'. I love the tree doorway on this as you have probably noticed lol! The bricks and piles of leaves stamp are from the same set.

I started with my base 8 x 8 White card and matted it up with some Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Card-Pastels.

Using the reverse of some C.C Centura Pearl card Gold I inked up with Tim Holtz Distress Inks Crushed Olive, Vintage Photo and Fired Brick, I then stamped the enchanted doorway with Vintage Photo and coloured in using Vintage Photo and Crushed Olive as water colour paints, I also used a little of Color-box Hunters Green Ink on some of the leaves. Using a wet paint brush I brushed over certain areas to try and make it look like the lamp was shining, I dabbed the water up with kitchen towel. I painted in a pathway and some of the bricks in the background the same way. I used the leaves stamp to stamp piles of leaves either side of the tree and coloured in with T.H.Vintage Photo and Crushed Olive.

Using more of the reverse of some Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card Gold I stamped the Lady from Sheena Douglass Little Bit Magical Honesty stamp set, I then coloured her in using Crafters Companions Spectrum Noir pens; Brights-BT8, BT6, RG5 and LIghts-CR4, TN4, TN3, GB4, I did use Brights-BT6 to colour in the folds of her dress at the front and then added some Decor Art Glamour Dust to add sparkle but the colour did not show through as I hoped it would so the front of her dress just looks like sparkly fur! A mistake I won't do again...hopefully! I cut the Lady out and attached her with Pinflare Silicone Glue to the left side of the card as if walking towards the door.

I stamped my sentiment from Creative Expression Unmounted stamps-Classic Sentiments using T.H. Vintage Photo under the bottom of the tree.
My son then informed me he thought it needed a frame rather than just mounting it onto my card so I die cut some boarders from Spellbinders Venetian Accents using the Red card from Crelando Coloured card pad from Lidls, we did go through all the colours but decided on the Red to match the Fired Brick ink on the card. I placed these around the edge of the image, then mounted the image onto my card and there is the finished card.

Thank you for looking, I do look forward to reading your comments, Jacquie xxx

Thinking of You

Morning Crafters, as I am posting this we have blue skies and the sun is trying to break through the flurry of clouds, hopefully it will stay dry as it chucked it down yesterday. My Acers are starting to change colour I am seeing some Red and Orange, I do love Autumn and the colours it brings.

Anyhow, todays card is from one of Sheena Douglass Little Bit Magical 'The Quest' stamp set, she does bring us some beautiful stamp sets. I tried to do a card similar to one she had shown on one of her shows.

I started with my base card 8 x 8 White card, I matted this up with some Brown card from Crelando Coloured card that I got from Lidls, using the back of Crafters Companions Centura Pearl Gold card I inked randomly over the card with Tim Holtz Distress Inks; Crushed Olive, Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade.

I then stamped my image from Sheena Douglass Little Bit Magical The Quest using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo. I coloured in the tree using Crushed Olive & Vintage Photo as water colour paints, I coloured in the boy using Crafters Companion Spectrum Noir pens DR4 & JG2. I coloured his skin with T.H.Distress Inks Victorian Velvet & Squeezed Lemonade together as water colours and his hair, satchel and boots with Vintage Photo. Bit of a mix but it worked. The falling leaves I second stamped with Vintage Photo, meaning ink the stamp up blot it onto paper then stamp onto the background using the same ink a second time to give a faded effect. I inked round the edge with Vintage Photo and put to one side.

I cut a piece of Crafters Companion  Heat Resistant Acetate to size and stamped the Owl from Sheena's 'The Quest' using my Versamark Stamp Pad then heat embossed with Papermania Embossing Powder in Copper, turning the acetate over I painted the Owl on the back using Reeves Acrylic Paints in Burnt Umber, Titanium White, Paynes Gray and Ultramarine, unfortunately these do not show through so well as the embossing powder almost left no gaps in the stamped image but hopefully you can see what I was trying to do. I placed the acetate over my card so I could see where to place my sentiment, no good covering it up with the Owl lol! I stamped my sentiment from Creative Expressions Unmounted Stamps-Classic Sentiments using T.H. Distress Ink Vintage Photo then attached the acetate using four brads from Do crafts Papermania Chronology Brads in the same copper tone to match the Owl.

I matted this onto my card and there you have the finished card. I have two more cards to upload today for in the week, I was a busy bee yesterday! I schedule my cards as I find it easier what with work etc that way I can try and keep on top of it to add a new card each day, of course that means I cannot chat about things that have happened during my day as I don't have a crystal ball lol! So please do not think I am not being friendly like some of you, I love reading your posts and reading what you have got up to, this is just easier for me and I try to read everyone's blog sometime from morning before work till before I go to bed.As you read this I break up from work for half term today, yippee, so I have a full week ahead of chores and card making lol!

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

True Friendship

Happy morning crafters, hope this finds you all well, I have a bit of a more cheery card for you today, although I love it as it is, there could be some improvements on it but I did not do them in case it ruined it lol! What do they say? Its only a piece of card...!

Forgot to Welcome Kate (doenrightcrafty) yesterday, sorry Kate, great to have you on board.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments yesterday, had a fabulous time at the Tower and the kids were fantastic, 61 in all but with 6 staff we had groups of 10 each and mine were all girls who all behaved exceptionally well. We did not lose any of them thankfully lol!
Ang they do still have the Crown Jewels there and they are stunning close up, well worth a look as indeed the whole Tower is.
I will get round to comment on everyone's blog tonight, sorry was too knackered last night lol!

Anyway, I started with my basic White 8 x 8 card and matted it up with a piece of Gold card, sorry cannot remember where this came from, With some Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card Gold, I turned it over, as Sheena says! So the Pearlescent side is now on the back and randomly coloured all over the card with Tim Holtz Distress Inks-Fired brick, Crushed Olive, Squeezed Lemonade and Vintage Photo.

With Sheena Douglass Little Bit Magical Stamps-Enchanted Doorway, I stamped this in the center of my card using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo, using the same ink I painted in a little of the tree and used Crushed Olive on the leaves. I stamped on the brick walls at the side and the little bricks around the tree with Vintage Photo then using a paint brush and some water I washed the ink off in places on the tree and brick walls, put in some steps and dried with some kitchen towel.

On the back of the wall I stamped the ivy with the Crushed Olive ink, these stamps were also in the Enchanted Doorway set.

Down in the bottom right corner I stamped my sentiment from Creative Expressions Unmounted stamps-Classic Sentiments, I did intend this to be a 'Welcome to your new Home' message but could not find my stamp so stamped this one instead!

There you have the finished card, hope this one warms you up Ang lol!

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Iced Angel

Morning crafters, another Angel card for you today, I love this stamp but then I like Angels.

Today I am off to visit The Tower of London with the Year 7 at our school so that should be eventful! Always wanted to visit there so quite excited myself lol! This will mean a late day back from work so hopefully will get a chance to visit everyone's blog sometime during the evening, I do like to comment on everyone's as I truly appreciate you all welcoming me into the blog world and commenting on my posts.

Now todays card...an inspiration from Sue Wilson.

I started with some Black card and stamped my image from Creative Expressions Singles Christmas-Herald Angel with Versamark, then heat embossed it with Papermania Embossing Powder-Sea foam White.

On deciding what die to use I measured and cut a piece of Crafty nations double sided Adhesive Sheet and placed this onto my image with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Majestic Elements-Majestic Labels Twenty-Five die on top then ran it through the Grand Calibar, it was only then I realized I had forgotten this die cuts out the middle! I had the intention of coating the Angel in Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels-Iced Snow which I continued to do but I chose not to coat the frame the same, I wanted it to stand out, so I covered it in Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes-Persian Dawn.  I attached these together onto some Black card cutting round it leaving a slight edge.

I matted and layered this onto some Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card Gold that I had pierced round the edge, then matted it again onto Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card Silver.
Finally I added a Black satin bow at the bottom and embellished it with a White Pearl Button.
I have not put a sentiment on this but I don;t think it needs one.

There you have the finished card. I hope you like it?

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Oh Christmas Tree

Morning crafters, hope this finds you all well and happy.

Another Christmas card for you today, you must be getting sick of them at the moment, sorry, I will put more Birthday cards up as I make them lol! I am waiting for half term so I have more time to make a batch and put them on here.

I started with my basic White 8 x 8 base card, onto this I matted some Green Glitter card from Cafe Mediterranean Card stock.

Using some White card I popped it through Sue Wilson Embossing Folder Garden Lattice then edged it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Crushed Olive and matted this onto my card.

Out of Green Vellum I die cut Spellbinders Shapeabilities 2012 Holiday Tree and attached this to the center of my card, I embellished this with some Habico Self Adhesive Pearls to act as baubles.

In two of the corners I placed Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die-lites Corner Sprigs cut out of more Green Glitter card, in the opposite corners I added more Habico Self Adhesive Pearls to balance it out.

On my PC I had typed up some Christmas sentiments in fancy text, using one of those I die cut  using the smallest die from Spellbinders Nestabilities label Twenty-Eight and inked in the die with Crushed Olive Distress Ink.

I attached this to the card in the top right corner with some Foam pads.

There you have the finished card.

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Hark the Hearald Angels Sing

Morning Crafters. Last week at work before half term, where has this year gone?!!

Now I have done something a little different, as what I started out to do I did not end up with! Story of my life that is lol!

I decided I wanted to stamp and gild the Angel image onto Black card using Creative Expression Single Christmas-Herald Angel along with the music Inkylicious Clear Stamp-Music Melody and song title Creative Expression Single Christmas-Herald Angel, but on doing so I went too close to the edge of the card to die cut it out as I intended, because of this no die would fit around it, silly mistake so it had to stay Rectangle! Then after gilding with Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes-Summer Meadow it looked lovely but I had to go and try something else!

I wanted to see what it would look like with Micro beads over the whole lot. So I covered the gilded image with a piece of Crafty nations double-sided Adhesive Sheet and covered it in Creative Expression Micro Beads. Now I am not sure it looks as good as it did just gilded but it was too late. I matted this onto a piece of Gold card and trimmed it up.

Now this did not look good on White card so I matted it onto Black card on top of two Heartfelt Creations Decorative Lattice Swirls that I had heat embossed with Papermania Embossing Powder-Gold. This added some interest around the focal image but did not distract from it too much.

After this I felt something was needed in the bottom left corner as it looked bare so I decided to make a Poinsettia flower out of Spellbinders Shapeabilities Layered Poinsettia using the three smallest dies and gilded the flower with more of the Cosmic Shimmer Summer Meadow Gilding Flakes, a Self Adhesive Black Pearl placed in the center of the flower finished the card off.

Although it did not end out as intended I am pleased with the finished look.

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Sunday 20 October 2013

Seashore Bay

Morning Crafters, I was in two minds to post this one today as I am not sure I like it, they are cards I made a while back, I feel now I should have put another corner die in the opposite corner and put the text image in the center of these, as it is, I feel its too plain, too much space. Anyhow decided to post to show one (or two) of my disasters lol! Not quite tropical but by the sea anyhow lol!!!

I started with my basic 8 x 8 White card and matted this with Premium Shades Cafe Mediterranean 12 x 12 Card stock Blue Pearlescent.
Using the same card I die cut one corner from Spellbinders Gold Elements One and one frame from Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements - Decorative Labels Twenty-Two.

Using some White card I ran this through the Sue Wilson Sea Garden Embossing Folder and inked round the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Peacock Feathers.

I matted the White embossed card onto my card then added the corner onto the top left.
Using the  JustRite Cling Stamps - Sea Shell Bay Labels Twenty-Two    I stamped my image onto White card and coloured it in using various Promarkers, I coloured the center with some of the Peacock Feathers ink. I die cut this with Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements - Decorative Labels Twenty-Two and attached it to the frame as seen. I placed this onto the card in the lower corner.

In the bottom left corner I added some small shells I had bought on my last visit to Cornwall, I did bring back lots of shells but I liked these little ones. I then placed some Habico Self Adhesive Pearls in the top right corner to balance it out.

There you have the finished card.

Now I did do another one very similar to this and again I am not sure whether I like it.

This is it: It was done using the same dies and card etc. I just stamped the Creative Expression Un-mounted Stamps Treasure of the Ocean over in several Distress ink colours before putting through the same embossing folder.

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Snow on Snow

Hi my crafting friends, thank you for looking at my posts, it really is appreciated. I am 882 on the list as I posted this lol! Lets hope I start to go in the right direction soon!!

Sorry Ang, its the cold snow again lol! Tomorrow is better Promise!

Haven't we had some bad weather of late, hope none of you have had floods.

Another Snowman card for you today. I started with my basic White 8 x 8 card and matted this with some Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Pastels card. With a sheet of Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Silver I painted over the top with Tim Holtz Distress Inks Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac  using them as water colors just painting a wash over the top of the card. Once dry I ran this through the Crafters Companion Embossing Folder Snowflakes.
With a strip of Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Silver I ran this through the same Snowflakes Embossing Folder and matted it onto a strip of Crafters Companion Centura Pearl Pastels card. I wrapped this round the center of my card and fixed it at the back then matted it onto my card.

Out of Create and Craft Pearlescent card I die cut three circles, two from Spellbinders Shapeabilities Majestic Elements Exquisite Circles and one from Spellbinders Nestabilities Splendid Circles, on each of these I matted an image from Crafters Companion The Snowman & Snowdog CD-Rom. I attached these onto the card as seen.

I took the sentiment from Crafters Companion Snowman Cardmaking Kit 2012 and stuck this onto the strip of card on the left side.

There you have the finished card. Quick and easy to make.

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Miracle of Christmas

Morning Crafters, a little and quick card for you today.

First I had my 6 x 6 White base card and matted it up with a piece of Crafters Companion Centura pearl Pastels card-Blue.

Using White card I die cut two of Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die-lites Grate Works and attached them to the card in opposite corners.
In the top right corner I used a sentiment from Crafters Companion Snowman Cardmaking Kit from 2012 (yes I did have some left!!!) and stuck this in the center of the grate works.

Using some Crafters Companions Centura Pearl card - Silver I die cut 'The Snowman' and 'The Snowdog' from the Crafters Companion Die Templates. I coloured these in with Reeves Acrylic Paints, left to dry then attached onto the card as seen.

Using a glue pen I dotted some dots around the Snowman and Snowdog and lines under the Snowdog then sprinkled Decor Art Glamour Dust on the top to make it look like snow.

There you have the finished card.

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx

Pretty Ice Skater

Morning my crafting friends, hope this finds you all well? Lovely weather for Ducks we are having (Sorry Ang no pun honest!).

I have made todays card for a friends birthday that was yesterday, she loved it of course!

I tried to keep the colours of the card in with the colours in the image so that it hopefully, did not look to much. I did not start off with the intention of framing the image with the flowers but it ended up with it!

I started off with a sheet of Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card -Gold and folded it in half to form my base card.
On top of this I matted some Blue card from Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card-Pastels that I had first run through the Anna Griffin Embossing Folder-Pirouette.

I printed the image from Crafters Companion Paintbox Poppets Collection onto some Matt Photo Paper and put this to one side.

I had some Heartfelt Creations Decorative Lattice Swirls in Yellow card in my stock so I placed these on the top and bottom of my card, using Foam Pads I attached the image in the center of these as seen.

Using bits of card that I had from Crafters Companion Centura Pearl card-Pastels I die cut several flowers from Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die-lites Blossoms One, Two, Three and Four, stuck a few together, added a gem from Create and Craft Iridescent Gems in the center of those that needed it and attached them round the edge of the image.

On a piece of Centura card I stamped my senitment from Creative Expressions Un-mounted Stamps-Treasured Memories with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Victorian Velvet, inking through the die with Victorian Velvet then heat embossed it using Cosmic Shimmer Tropic Pearl Lustre. I then die cut with Spellbinders Shapeabilities Back to Basics Tags and attached this to the card with Pinflare Silicone Glue so it formed a slight arch. I placed this in the top right corner.

There you have the finished card, I hope you like it?

Thank you for looking, Jacquie xxx
