Oldies Friday

Morning my crafting friends, hope today finds you all safe and well, may I thank you all for visiting my little corner of the blog world today, it's so good to have you visit and please leave a comment if you wish to.

Now today's post is an oldie for you, many years ago when I was doing my HND course in Photography (yeah I did say photography, you wouldn't think it with some of the images I put on here would you lol!) we use to go out on field trips and I always loved architecture and landscapes so when a couple of friends and myself started doing exhibitions I made some cards up using some of my photos, these were just blank cards for any occasion or as notelets, being as I came across a couple the other day I thought I would show them to you over the next few Fridays. We did do many more but they were sold so I don't have any to photograph.

I bought the aperture cards from the internet although they would be quite easy to make now back then I would not have dared even try it was easier to buy them lol!

This photograph was of a clematis close up with a side view. I love how the stamens (if that's the right word!) stand up in the center and also it was to give it some interest, not the normal photograph showing the whole flower.

I hope you enjoyed looking, love Jacquie xxx

  1. Such a beautiful photo makes a stunning CAS card.
    hugs Sue xx

  2. Jacquie, firstly I must apologise for missing your last post, I lost my reading list off my iPad and been trying to get them back in but it's not working so I have to go into my blog and press on each person to get their blogs up to see if they have posted, a long way round and my temper gets the better of me the iPad and I have fallen out a lot. YOur last post with that gorgeous back ground is wonderful and as for today's it's stunning, love how you have taken the different angle of the flower centre something our Chris would do. Sorry your neighbours is poorly again, she is lucky to have you being able to visit her, hope she gets better soon. Hazel x

  3. A beautiful photography Jacquie and it looks lovely made into a card. Susan x

  5. What a gorgeous photograph Jacquie! Postcard perfect! until next time, big hugs :)

  6. Brilliant card Jacqui, I love your beautiful photograph.
Would look stunning as a picture.
I lost my love of photography when my Dad died. He was a wonderful photographer, who taught me a lot.
However our and Hazel's sons have taken over, taking some fantastic pictures.

  7. Hi Jacquie
Stunning photo. The angle you have taken it at is so effective. I too am a keen photographer and have taken and sold photos for a flower catalogue and done a couple of weddings. However, the card making has, somewhat taken over hahaha!
You wouldn't believe it from my blog photos lol!
    Best wishes.
    Ang x
