True Friends...

Morning crafters, so good of you to join me today, I really do appreciate your company, I hope I can offer you some inspiration by my posts. If you have a blog of your own then please do leave me the link and I can return the favour.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments I have had on my posts of late, I really do appreciate each and every one. Bibiana never worry about not posting for a while I am just as bad and I never forget you either, I do try and get round to everyone, sometimes time just runs out, if I don't have time to comment I always look! You all give me inspiration every day, I just need the time to put it into action lol!

Today's post turned out completely different to what I was hoping to achieve but I am very happy with the results, you know what it is like you think about doing something then you see something else and 'oh that may look good' and there you have it, all changed lol!

I had two pieces of Blush card  in my scrap pile that I thought would make for a smaller card so I glued them together to form a base card.

In my scrap pile I also had some double sided paper, snowflakes on side and dots the other, so I used the dots side, distressed the edge with my scissors and attached this to the base card.

Using a piece of White card I stamped my background stamp with a Versamark Ink Pad, it did not fill the bottom of the card but that was one of the looks I wanted, I then heat embossed it before inking all over the card with distress ink. I die cut the arch at the top using a piece of paper from the Theresa Collins Paper Pad  and die cut the focal elements using two of Sue Wilson's new dies with more of the Blush card. On the top focal die I stamped my sentiment with the same ink I used to colour the top panel. I attached all of these to my card, wrapped a piece of lace ribbon round the bottom then attached this on top of my base card.

Using a piece of Gold Glitter Ribbon, I  tied it in a knot and placed it just under the focal dies. I have some wooden circles so I inked on up and heat embossed it with embossing enamel twice then stuck it on top of the knot.

On the inside I added another piece of Blush card that I had die cut with the same Arch die and matted on the back with the same paper I used for the Arch on the front. Hope all that makes sense?

There you have the finished card. Dimensions are  almost 4.5" X 8".
