William Morris Floral

Morning my crafting friends, another weekend is upon us, gosh I have been so tired this past week, having to get up so early again for work has been a shock to the system lol!

Now todays card has been inspired by Pamellia over at http://mylittlecraftthings.blogspot.co.uk/
Pamellia always creates such wonderful things with such depth and I find it amazing the amount of embellishments and techniques she uses on her cards and they always look so amazing, never overloaded or too much, if you have not come across Pamellia please do have a look through her blog.

Now although it was Pamellia who has inspired today's post its by no means anywhere near her creativity, I am just starting off small by using the paste lol!!! I thought I would give it a try as I bought this modelling paste early last year and it has just sat there! I wondered whether it would work through a mask/stencil rather than a mold and it did, not perfectly but I was pleased with it, did not realise how quick it dried though lol! I did sprinkle all the Mica Pigments and glitter on it straight away but left it until it was completely dry before brushing them over the whole card but I was happy with the result.
I just matted and layered up the focal element with some coloured card, a colour that was in the Mica Pigments to match so it may well have been a completely different look with say a Yellow or Green card as apposed to the Rich Purple. The largest Purple layer I embossed with Sue Wilson garden lattice Folder.

A simple sentiment at the bottom I felt was suffice to finish the card.
