Christmas Time

Items Used:

  • Basic Card
  • White card
  • Pale Blue Pearlescent Card
  • Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA
  • American Seam Binding Ribbon-Pale Blue
  • Spellbinders Nestabilities 2011 Heirloom Ornaments
  • Spellbinders Shapeabilities 2012 Snowflake Pendants
  • Creative Expressions That Special Touch Mica Mask-Lattice
  • Creative expressions Fancy Pearl Embellishment
  • Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder - Arctic Bay Lustre
  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass

I started with my background placing the Creative Expressions That Special Touch Mica Mask-Lattice on top of White Card and inking through with my versamark ink pad I then covered it with Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder - Arctic Bay Lustre and heated it with my heat gun to set. I absolutely love this mask, its great just inked through but using these Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powders with it really makes it stand out.

I cut out two squares from Pale Blue Card and one of White Card and matted and layered these on top of my basic card, around the edge of the White card I added some Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA to form little pearls, I put this aside over night to set. I then placed the embossed background in the center of the card.

Out of White card I cut the large bauble from  Spellbinders Nestabilities 2011 Heirloom Ornaments and inked through the die with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass, I cut out a Spellbinders Shapeabilities 2012 Snowflake Pendants from the center of the bauble and rearranged it in the center off setting it from the cut out. I added a messy bow out of American Seam Binding Ribbon-Pale Blue and finished of with a Creative Expressions Fancy Pearl Embellishment.

I have not added a sentiment to this one as I did not feel it was necessary.

The finished dimensions are 8" x 8". I hope to put up more Christmas cards over the next few days.
Thanks for looking, Jacquie xxx
