Silver Bells

Hello my crafting friends, hope this finds you all safe and well, if not hugs all round.

Now, most of you know now that I was extremely lucky to be invited onto Sheena Douglass DT  well not long  now  .....Sheena Douglass is back on Create and Craft on Thursday 25 June at 8.00 & 11.00 a.m. and 2.00, 4.00, and 7.00 p.m with some NEW Christmas stamps and embossing folders.  My cards won't feature on this one but there are some Fantastic examples from the other DT please do look in on the shows, you will not be disappointed.

I have done this little example of a new stamp entitled 'Silver Bells'.

I used two kinds of Hammered card on this, White & Blue matted and layered. On top I have letterpress embossed with the Ancient Arches Embossing folder and Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

I stamped the Bells onto White card and painted with AquaTints then cut out and placed on top of the embossed card.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with the stamp set onto White card and made a ribbon out of it matting it onto Blue Hammered card and placed this across the bottom of the card trying not to cover up too much of the embossed card.

There you have the finished card, dimensions are 7"X5".

Items Used:

Sheena Douglass Embossing Folder Ancient Arches
Sheena Douglass Stamps Silver Bells
Spectrum Noir AquaTints 08; 22; 42; 74 & 99
Create and Craft Hammered Card White
Printable Heaven Hammered Card Blue
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pumice Stone
Archival Ink Black

If you love all Sheena then please do watch the shows for all the great inspirations from Sheena and the Design Team.

  11. Just popped back Jacquie, re the journal I think it is relaxing and also it is a good momento for jotting things down. I normally take my images off later and give them to a young group to make cards with and then put my own words and thoughts/pictures/photos into the journal...on loose pages I re-use as backgrounds for cards...but am finding cards a bit boring at the moment. Need to keep using my dies and goodies though...thanks.xx

  16. Hi Jacquie,
lovely card. I love the EF and the bells. Like you are
making smaller cards as bigger ones are so expensive
    to send, especially abroad.
    Hugs Maria x
