Peony Collage

Morning my crafting friends, hope today finds you all safe and well, lots of hugs to those who may not be.

I keep wondering how many dies I have in my stash as my friend Wendy is doing a die on her blog everyday http://spanishcrafter.blogspot.co.uk/ do go and take a look, each time I look at her wonderful creations I think I must count mine and never have so I will count them and let you know on Saturdays post.

Today's post is one I made up to use some off cuts of paper I had left and I thought these two of roses went together so I wrapped a strip of lace ribbon around them then matted them onto a piece of Dusky Pink Satin card and layered this onto my 6" X 6" base White card.

I stamped my topper on some White card and coloured it in with Promarkers, inked the edge with the same Pink that I coloured the peony in then went round the edge with a Glue pen and dipped the edges into Diamond Snow. I placed this on the card at an angle.

I die cut the swirly frame from Twisted Metals and Accents, cut it in half and wrapped that over two corners of the image.

There you have the finished card. It was quite a quick make that are very handy at times!

  11. Hi Jacquie,
Your card is stunning, I love the idea of using your old dies, something I have spoken about on my blog, it's easy to get caught in a trap of using your newest dies only, I found that I had forgotten how much I loved some of the older dies!
The papers you have used go together so well too, brilliant design!
    Love & hugs
