Hi there my crafting friends, hope this finds you all ok and that not only are you all safe and well but have also had a good weekend.
Tony, the fellow colleague who left our work place on Friday, loved the card, in fact he thanked me three times for it, there were some lovely messages written in there for him so I am sure he will keep it lol! It was sad to see him go as he has made such an impact at work but its also good to see him do something with his life as he is only young and I am sure this adventure will do him good.

I have been trying to keep to doing small cards and as I had my new die delivered the other day I could not resist using it, this fits perfectly over a 4X6" card, of course you could do more than one and make a boarder, it does come with a small boarder (see inside card on smaller picture), I am sure I will be using this a lot as I feel it gives a vintage look to the cards. Todays post has been inspired by Becca Feeken's work, she has the most wonderful blog http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/ so please do go and take a look.
I just matted and layered up my card with some pretty papers from Tattered Lace, the top layer I wrapped some ribbon around it. I die cut my arch into a strip of Gold Miri card and then placed it on the back so the die cut came over the top and I stuck it down on top of the ribbon.
I die cut a little tag from Baroque Ovals using Gold Miri card and die cut again using White card but I cut the inner oval out of the white, stamped my sentiment on it and attached it to the Gold tag, I placed this down in the bottom right corner of the card.
Using the same White ribbon I made a bow and attached it at the bottom then placed an old Pearl & Gold Button on top.
I stamped a sentiment onto a piece of Blush card and used the tiny boarder die to match at the bottom, this was attached inside and there you have the finished card, I do hope you like it?

Hi Jacquie, I' just catching up with my blogs as I've just got a new laptop to replace my old computer and it's taking me a while to find things again. A really nice die that you have used - quite art deco inspired ?. It would also make a nice photo frame. Have a good day. Janice xx
